We at NBCCC offer our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers for the family of Fr. Lawrenece A. Lucas, including NSBC board member Sister Patricia Lucas, DHM.  Fr. Larry was a courageous, pioneering priest and one of the founders of NBCCC (his bio is on our exemplars page at www.nbccc.cc).  I invite all priests and bishops to offer a mass for him.  Also, at 9pm EDT this Divine Mercy Sunday, all in our community are invited to say the rosary for him, wherever you are.    
 
We also continue to hold in prayer the families and communities of recently deceased Rev. Chester Smith, SVD, and Rev. Russell Best.  
 
Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and let Perpetual light shine upon them…may the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.  Amen!
