National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus
2018 Distinguished Exemplars
To commemorate he 50th anniversary of its founding, the National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus (NBCCC) has selected 50 living African American Catholic clergy and religious who have contributed in some way to the NBCCC organization, and who might serves as examples (exemplars) of the lives and labors of the collective body. Nominees were solicited from NBCCC membership. Those selected are not meant to be a “best of the best” list – but a representative sampling of the often unheralded body of Black Catholic workers in the vineyard of the Lord – exemplars of faith, hope, love, humility and even perhaps heroic virtue.
